My favorite holiday is Christmas, because it is the time where it has the most breaks from school. Also, there is another reason behind the fact that Christmas break is the day where my birthday is taken place on. As I could get presents from Christmas, I would also receive my birthday present. Even though my parents and family cook seaweed soup instead of giving me presents, I am grateful for the life they have given me, with the warm and caring ways throughout my years with them. Friends are another reason why my favorite holiday is on Christmas. They give me presents as it is my birthday, but one of the bad things is that I cannot have my birthday celebration at school. Thinking back through all the years; however, I think that it is essential to not have my birthday at school, for the fact that people who I rarely know will be like scavengers searching for food throughout the classroom and that I will have to spend more money just to feed them. I know that I can be cruel in thinking this way, but if you think of it in my type of situation where I stand, you will understand that it is the best choice to make.
It is more of a reluctant and relieved feeling that would set my mind at ease to only have my best friends come over to the beach and celebrate my birthday with barbeque and have a great time swimming throughout the day. Although it would have been a great feel to it if I was in the States, where snow would be falling down as we play snowball fights.
