I want to talk about the importance in ones trust. Trust is something that everyone has and gives to others in order for others to believe in them. The concept of trust has been around for so long that I do not even know how long it has been around. All that I know for sure is that trust deals with both power and loyalty needed towards others. Leaders have given their trust to its people by ensuring their countries safety and prosperity for many many years. This in return, makes the people of that country become loyal to its leader and the country will work as one to better the present and future. There is another factor to this, and that is by the power of fear. Fear is given to many people in order for them to stay loyal and do as the leader would tell you to do. Fear, just like trust, has been around for so long. It’s just like how you read it, “if there is trust, then there is fear and deceit.” It is also like Ying and Yang, hot and cold, water and fire, heaven and earth. Nothing in this world is made up of purely good, because humans are created to be perfect beings; however, we constantly make mistakes in our daily routines in life. But to better this bifactor, one must practice and practice until that mistake can be overcome most of the time. “Practice makes perfect” this is a saying that everyone should know by now.

Little kids that attend school are taught the basic rules that makes up the importance in the world as they grow bigger and older. The golden rule is emphasized greatly for its great importance that will lead them to succession. “Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.” I have learned this rule since kindergarten and I still remember it until now. This is because every day I and my classmates would recite this rule that is posted on top of the white board with tapes ducted on the tips of the four sides of the poster. Stressing the importance of the rule, every time someone does not get their work done (which is like basically drawing and coloring) would get a deduction of a golden star below their names on the teachers’ board.

I believe that even though we learn the importance of trust and truthfulness, we still lie amongst others to hide our mistakes and wrong doings. No one is to be trusted all the time because they could be the ones spreading the rumors and back stabbing you behind your back without you even knowing it. If knowing that this has occurred to you, you will understand more of what this trust is and the importance in needing it as well as the bad things that come with being a human being.

No one is to be trusted all the time; this is my word to you and I advise you to take my advise very seriously, because “the outside world” that you still do not know about is filled with good and bad that you do not know to the extent of.

my life's philosophy

My life’s philosophy is to pursue ones dreams and passion in what they love to do. Ever dreamed about what you want to be? Or even what you want to achieve? I’m pretty sure you have, because I can assure you that every one of us has had dreams in which we wanted to achieve the very one thing we love to do. Passion is the key in which that motivates ones dream into becoming a reality in which you can accomplish by showing true effort in it.

I remember when I was a kid, my father had asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I answered, “When I grow up, I want to be a fisherman.” I know that it may sound funny, but this was something I was very serious with when I was little. When you love something that you have fun in doing isn’t that the path you should go for? Instead of having a boring job which you hate so much and packing up stress each time you do your job. I’d rather have a life in which I would do what I love the most and have fun doing my job as well. I’m not saying that I really want to be a fisherman, but it would be a good choice to think about. Not only would I be fishing, but my main job would be scuba diving, working for the scuba diving company and having fun in doing so, meeting many people who are friendly and in which I would consider them as a part of my family.

Not everyone gets the chance to have a job in which they truly love to do. This is something everyone should think about as they move along in the later years of their life as they start to major in classes they would like to work as. As for me, I am thinking to major in criminal justice where I will be working as a customs in the airport. This may be difficult as I will be working for the federal government, but once I get in, my life will become better with my well paying job. I will also organize my schedule to have enough time for my spearfishing sessions in which I could do an all day trip every weekend or at least once every two weeks or even a month.
Spearfishing not only is fun, but you get to meet many new friends that you can dive with next time and have a great time doing so. This sport is not only fun and exciting, but is also a great way to bond a friendly relationship with others and have parties with the fish that you catch. Spearfishing is also a great adventure in which you can meet other spearo’s around the world and you can experience many great wonders dealing with the underwater world!

if i could change one thing in my past

If I could change one thing in the past, I would have changed the time when I had cut open my heel from swimming. This event happened not too long ago on December 17^th of 2010. This was the last day for our school and Christmas break had started. The weather was looking so beautiful that I had planned to abruptly go to Wing beach and spearfish. Spearfishing has become a sport and a hobby to me that I love so much, because I loved the water ever since I was a kid. Water has always been in my life and my passion for the water has become greater when I had been introduced to spearfishing. Not only did my interest for water increase, but as well as the respect for the inhabitants inhibiting the waters that I swim in.

Some people who do not know how to swim may not understand how deep my passion is for the water, however, someday I want to record my adventures and share it with others who may or may not know me. But the people I want to show the most of my adventures to my friends and family who mean a lot to me. My family does not really love the water like I do. When I was young, my father loved cliff fishing so he would take me along with my mom to a night of cliff fishing where my mom would watch me as she cooks dinner sitting on the carpet. I was too young but as I grew older, my father would take me fishing more often and I would love to follow him every time. My love for fishing was so great that even though my father would try to give me five dollars to cheer me up when I couldn’t go with him, I would reject his offer of the money and try to follow him fishing.

My dad was the first one to introduce me to fishing and I fell in love with it just like my dad did. Although his type of fishing is different from the sport of spearfishing that I do, I still respect the sport of cliff fishing and any other type of sport that deals with fishing. Spearfishing is different from a regular fishing because unlike bottom fishing, spearfishing involves diving and holding your breath as you dive underwater to depths of 10 feet to over 100 feet, depending on how well you have trained to become good enough to dive that deep. As you dive down and reach the bottom, there are many types of ways to hunt fish: stalking the prey, hiding and then ambushing the prey, or stay camouflaged and then catching the prey. Each technique is needed for different kinds of fish and some may work better than the others depending on the type of fish that is being hunted.

Spearfishing is a sport that I love very much and I will never live without it. The love of passion for ones hobby will always be with me until I die.

pleasing others more than pleasing yourself

This is how a human's heart works. Every heart contains a certain amount of feelings towards others which is limited until that heart can not take anymore and becomes spiteful towards the world they live amongst. In order for these lives to not lead toward a wrong path, we relieve our “stress” by sharing our troubles and relating them to others who have experienced it.

Not only does this concern to people of the opposite genders relations but as well as to the same gender. This is because I believe that men get along better with men when it comes to understanding each others reasons of depression and their sorrow towards girls. This is the same as saying how girls love shopping while boys love sports and are adrenaline junkies. Throughout experience, I agree to this because I have been through both in which I had to agree upon having a more comfortable feeling while talking towards other guys. You would not feel as awkward as you are talking to a girl about what guys talk about. As to girls talking about how hot guys are and who is the gossip of the day and such. Gossips in my opinion I ought to be around for both sexes however, it seems that girls tend to make those gossips more into a rumor and such.

The only way to escape the turmoil of keeping these pain is to let others know and share those pains with them in which I must say that I have used this quote as well, “ You do not have to keep everything to yourself, the more you keep it to yourself, the more it will affect you with pain. I am here to relieve your pain by taking some of those burden off of your shoulder and putting it on mine and I am sure that most friends are willing to do the same as well. Friends are there to hear you out and help you through those hard times. Never think that you are alone in this world.”

is billiards a sport?

In my opinion, anything that is needed to be moved physically along with a tool is recognized as a sport. Many things are used with tools in our daily lives and is needed for the simplicity and ease of use for constructions and repairs of what not. When someone uses tools to make something out of another object, for example, using carving tools, screws, hammer, and other materials, this is called craftsmanship. Crafting should be a sport that would represent another world of dimension in which involves thinking and skillfully revealing the craftsman's talents.

Swimming uses ones body to propel themselves forward as to billiards in which an individual uses a stick to hit the ball physically in order for the ball to move forward to the designated spot. Golf is a sport that uses similar style in billiards by using a type of stick to hit the ball in order to move forward and put it in a designated spot. Most of the major sports use balls to make a goal and everyone in the team must cooperate in order for their team to score more points and be the best of the best amongst other teams. Time is of the essence in basketball, swimming, track, marathon; however, other sports like golf and baseball do not require a limited time because it could always end quicker than expected times or later.

Anything that is used as both mental and physical is needed for sports. For example, spearfishing is a sport, but more of a hunting. In this sport, your body must be conditioned and prone to temperature changes as it becomes colder as you dive deeper. When you are diving deeper, the pressure will also challenge your body and how comfortable you are with your surroundings with an environment that is not for human to live in. Many may assume that the water is one of the elements that is not harmful to our daily lives, however, the element of water is a very destructive force that should not be taken lightly. The oceans currents is so strong that I would advise you to take precaution as you swim. Rip currents for example is one of the scariest things to experience because you will not realize what had hit you until you are already out 200yards in the water. Rip current focuses on one area mostly in the channel where all the water inside the reef and the shore must go out from. The channel gives this path and is focused on this channel. When a person goes in waters waist deep, it is most likely that you will be sucked out by the current in seconds. The scary thing about this is that people think that it is safe because of how the water is calm at one point and then it turns into a raging water that sucks you out.

All sports should be taken seriously and cautiously in that you know what you are doing and even before you do any of the sports, you should learn the basics of that sport and play safe. Dive safe and always have a partner, always watch the ball as they throw it to you, yield to others passing by as you hit the ball while playing golf. Do not exceed your limits if you think you cannot do it. Always think positive while playing the sport as though you have already won. Respect the sport and have good sportsmanship, in return, you will have respect as well from your peers and opponents.

Pro athletes today are overpaid

Pro athletes are getting overpaid now-a-days because of their sponsorship and advertisement in both the sport and for the brand of clothing and objects that are needed to promote the companies products.Each and every one of the sport is sponsored by brands such as Nike who has sponsored Tiger Woods, who is one of the best golfers in the world.
As society modernizes into a more materialistic era, people can obviously identify multiple changes in advertisements, social medias and networks, and technology. In order to appeal to the public, companies would use sports as an "eye-catcher" for the public. For example, Nike sponsors major pro-athletics such as Tiger Woods and David Beckham. Advertisements would include punchlines that grab customers' attentions. As they see these athletics, the people are brainwashed into thinking if they buy this product, they'll score a hole-in-one like Tiger Woods or a perfect Rainbow shot into a soccer goal like David Beckham. These companies overpay these athletics to promote their products. and in result those in the middle class struggle to make a balanced living.
Though athletics are taxed the same percentage, they still haven enough money to buy their wants while satisfying their needs. As this occurs, a middle class family struggles to pay for mortgage, insurance, and other necessities. How does the government expect the low social class to pay for a living while these athletics flaunt around the world with their money? Is it necessary to pay these athletics such high income? The companies expected people to buy their product with the little money they have. If this cycle continues, the economy will worsen and taxes my result in an increase.

Name an animal and describe it in 500 words

A shark is an animal that resembles the power and strength of a beast with fearful abilities to sniff out a drop of blood from a mile away and know when you are in fear. Being in fear triggers the sharks senses to act aggressive and become in a attacking mode. When a person is in fear and panicked, then their heart will start to race, beating faster and faster. The beating of the heart can be heard underwater and the sensitivity of the sharks senses is a deadly skill.

There are many types of sharks in the world and most of them are animals capable of attacking a person by mistake or just out of curiosity. The sharks that are almost harmless to people are nurse sharks and reef sharks. Although most sharks have their own calm side, once they smell and taste the blood or meat of a carcass of a fish or anything considered as food, they will start to become aggressive. Once this happens, it is best to get out of the waters as quickly as possible before other sharks are attracted to the smell of blood and from the other sharks aggressive behavior.

It is like a chain reaction for sharks that go in packs, for example, the gray reef sharks. I have heard about these type of sharks from an experienced spearfisherman in the island of Saipan who told me that if you see a reef shark and it is in a group of three or four or more and they have their backs hunched up with their swimming behaviors changing a bit weird, it is best to get out of the water relaxed and calm without stirring up the waters too much.

I have had an encounter with a gray reef shark and a black tip shark that have come close enough for me to poke them with my speargun and they would not stop in doing so. This was about a month ago with my partner Kai Staal and Jake Van Dam. We were out spearing outside of the reef in Wing Beach. After about an hour and having caught a decent amount of fish, the gray reef shark about 6 feet long swam up to us (me especially because of the 8 pound trevalley that I just caught was spazzing out). The shark would not stop circling around until we finally left the vicinity of our hunting grounds.

For so long, sharks have been misunderstood by people all around the world who is only scared of what would happen on the negative side without considering the fact that most sharks are harmless and is only occurred that incidents of most sharks are made because people make the mistakes happen.

People who are scared of the water and sharks should really learn how to swim and get more comfortable around the waters in which we are surrounded in. This is something that will strengthen the mind and body of ones self accomplishing something of great importance in their life.

What do you want to do for Valentines Day?

For Valentines Day, I really want to spend time with the girl that I love; of course this is what almost all the people who are in love would say. Buying gifts for the special person and telling them how much you love them. Valentines Day is a day in which everyone around the world would do something for their loved ones.

Like I said, I would love to spend time with the girl that I love, take her out to the movies or take a stroll around Saipan at night. One thing that I really want to do though is to take her to banzai cliff at a clear night with no clouds that would hinder our plan to watch the stars. The first time I watched the stars at banzai cliff was with my senior classmates when we had gone there to chill and relax. The view was unbelievable and as soon as I laid my eyes on it, I fell in love with it instantly. As I watched the stars in the clear night sky with millions of stars, you could also feel the cool night breeze that blew constantly.

When someone suddenly spots a shooting star traveling across the night sky, they will have many things that run in their mind. Most people would make a wish and hope for it to come true, but when wishing something too superficial, it would be of a silly wish, which would show how he/she does not really believe in wishing amongst a shooting star. That night was an amazing encounter in which me and some of my friends have seen shooting stars. Once the time came for us to leave, I kept on telling them that I wanted to stay a little longer. Majority ruled and we had to leave.

I want to show the girl I love what I have felt that night, while feeling so relaxed and the mood is set perfectly for a romantic and beautiful night.

The catch in this is that the girl that I love is not here on Island. She is away in another land that I must keep to myself. Maybe someday in the future I will be able to have this romantic evening days with her as we live on the same Island, which will make it easier for us. Time is of the essence which in this situation makes it really important!

People may say what they want, but those words are just words of foolishness in which they can not control for their own jealousy and envy. A true friend will always support and encourage the other, however, once they use the words of blasphemy, what good is there to that friend? He/she is of no use but another obstacle to go through. I hope he understands later in life that words used in a joking manner may hurt that person and will rethink of ever meeting up with him ever again. He must realize the feelings of others and not only his own selfish being.

Everything happens for a reason and your behavior reflects the outcome of what you deserve. Each time you make a move, think before you act, it will really make a difference. Keep secrets that must be kept secret, even though it may be hard to keep it to yourself. Valentines Day is day of love and happiness, but also a day of heartbreak and sorrow. Act as you may want and do onto others as you want them to do onto you.

One book to take on a secluded Island, where reading is the only thing you can do

If I had to choose one book to read in a secluded Island with nothing else to do but read, it would have to be The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Although I have not read this book, I have heard a lot about its addictiveness in which you will not be able to stop reading, but wanting more of it. The novel is written by Stieg Larsson, who has also written the books The Girl who kicked the Hornet's Nest and The Girl who Played with Fire. The novel that I will be reading introduces Swedish geography with many locations of the countryside.

It is a great book that will give me the time and focus needed into reading it. When I was young, I loved to read books that were always interesting to my taste, who wouldn't right? And hearing from the people who have read it, it gives me a reason to read the book. With a bit of sexual violence and political corruption, there is an interesting theme that is hidden amongst all this mysterious and intriguing adventure.

Although I am not aware of the European controversies leading to the political issues, I have a hunch that it will be one of those books describing in detail of the geography and the family line in which the theme will be portrayed. Murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue; these are the things that keeps the readers from being drifted off and losing interest in the book. Some books have an ending that most readers would want, but respectively there are a lot of other books that are not praised and recognized.

On an Island where I am isolated with nothing to do but read, this would be the book to read. As I read and fall into the rhythm in which catches my attention, it would be almost impossible to take me out of it. Once I am hooked on something, like any other human being that likes pleasure, I will be wanting to read more and more. I would want to get to that part in the story which I have been expecting for and once I have achieved that desire, there will be a continuing desire of will to read on and on because of the dose of addictiveness I have obtain from reading the previous part.

I would most definitely be so into the book that eating would also have to wait or be stalled by several minutes or even hours, depending on how much I am starving. A reader understands the feeling of this desire. When you read the book, it is like you are being filled with the words that you read, which makes you think and feel as if you are full. This can be done by anyone who is very into reading, mostly with what storyline they love.

If I had one million dollars and no one knew about it, i would....

If I had one million dollars and no one knew about it, I would wait until I am done with my highs school year and then I would pack up my stuff, take my girlfriend to Korea, where my sister's wedding will be held. I will buy my sister a beautiful necklace along with my brother in law a gold necklace. But of course before all this happens, I will take my girlfriend to a jewelry shop and buy her and myself a couple ring. I will take her to many places such as amusement parks and other romantic places. I will make her experience the best of feelings with joy and emotional loving. I want her to know that I care for her the most in the whole wide world.

Well of course this is something that everyone would want and would dream of. I will follow this tradition in which people may think and will fantasize about and make into reality. After staying in Korea for my sisters wedding, me and my girlfriend will move to Guam, where we will live a normal life and act as if nothing had happened with the riches of the money. Our plans to live with each other will have to come later when she does turn eighteen. And between those moments, we will wait patiently having the time of our lives. Couples may want to live with each other right away with their own houses, however, for us, we would love to wait until I get a permanent job, enough to support and live on my own without the help of my family.

I do not want the help of my family, but I am thankful for what they have done for me. I will repay them in return for all the things they have done for me. If they do not approve of my girlfriend and me then I really can't do anything about it, but to wait and wait for their approval. I must make them realize the importance in not only their own tradition and what they believe in but also the importance of their one and only son. They should realize that I am in the state of age where I can decide for myself in who I want to marry and live with. I sure may sound like an inconsiderate guy who wants may think of only himself and what he wants, but why don't you step in my shoes for a moment?

Love will change a persons heart and emotions from one place to another. Do you know what it feels like to love someone who you think and know for a fact that is the perfect person to be with? Apart from what my parents tell me, of how they can introduce me to beautiful Korean girls who are fresh out of college, smart and young. Well, let me ask you something. Will I be living in Korea? I know it will be hard to communicate if my lady does not know how to speak Korean, but it is not your decision to select who I should be with. I plan to live in Hawaii, but maybe before that plan even starts, I will be living in Guam for a while. This world has changed from many years where you had lived in and you must accept the fact that it is not a sin nor a wrongdoing to be with the woman I love.

My literary Hero

A literary hero that I choose is George Milton in “Of Mice and Men”. He is a tragic hero in which he has been living his entire life and has also been taking care of his best friend Lennie Small. Lennie's last name contributes to a contradictory statement in which shows that it does not really fit his physique. George is of short and stout, with a shortage of temper in which he could withstand. Both George and Lennie's dreams are to get a job and get enough money from it in order to buy a farm in which they could have chickens and rabbits, growing enough food for themselves to live. However, this has been their dream since a long time ago and they have had no luck in achieving it yet because of Lennie's misbehavior of getting into trouble while ranching and bucking in their previous jobs.

Lennie's reasons in getting into trouble is because he has a greater physique of normal men, but with a mental abilities of a child. He does not give any harm in purpose, but because of his curiosity in doing so.

George is a tragic hero in a strange way, because the heroic deed that he does in his life is that he kills his best friend. Why does killing your best friend make you a tragic hero you ask? This is because it is in the end for Lennie's own good. In doing so, George is preventing Lennie from getting into even more trouble. When George and Lennie has found a new ranch and as they do their job, they come into contact with the ranch's owner's son, a somewhat semi-pro boxer, named Curley. He does not like his wife interacting with men other than him and is in a deep anger because of his overprotective self. The wife takes an interest in Lennie and talks with him and then a disaster strikes when Lennie “accidentally” kills the wife in the barn. From this, an angry mob from the ranch is set out to kill Lennie.

When George kills his best friend, it also shows that George has realized his great flaw: living with Lennie without any help of his mental abilities. Along with this, he also kills his own dream of starting a farm. Without Lennie, it will not be possible to earn enough money for his dreams to come true. On the contrary, if George had no lived with Lennie his whole life, then he would have been able to save enough money until now in order to buy the farm. The biggest flaw for George is living with Lennie, which has made his life a struggle, and also prevents him from achieving what he wants.

3 things i want to do during summer

When summer hits, I will be blowing the streets with my friends having parties. Meeting up with my friends and playing some pool, then after the pool, we'll drive around and think of some other things that we could do. There are many things that we would like to do, such as renting a hotel room and being silly like we always are. Samson never gets tired of giving us that feeling of weird, yet joyful moment that would mark the memories of our friendship throughout the last years of our high school year. I wouldn't mind saying this, however, as being guys and all, a celebration must come along with the graduations of the senior class of 2011! We will buy some beverages that may or may not be alcoholic and or soda's.

With parties that come along, a memorable barbeque is needed to end the afternoon's endings. After the barbeque and towards the incoming evenings day, we shall start the drinks with many more stuffs. Girls are always allowed to come, however, it also depends on who they are with their reputation amongst us guys.

After our party, I must leave to Korea for my sister's wedding. My family consists of my mother and father, 3 older sisters, and then me, the youngest and only boy. My youngest of the three sisters is the one who will be marrying this summer in June. I have invited my friend Woo Jeong Kim to follow me along to the wedding. This is the first time me and Woo Jeong will be meeting and going together to Korea. I am so stoked to be able to travel along to Korea with my best friend and to experience something special as a wedding. After the wedding, me and Woo Jeong will head out to play, such as go to karaoke, clubs, and PC room! I might also follow him to his hometown in Busan and the plan will go on from there.

After the wedding and staying over at Korea for a month, I will come back to Saipan and then fly over to Tinian to stay for a while with my parents. I will then, set out to Guam around mid July to start my days as a college student and move in with my sister who lives there.

Spearfishing- The Desire Within

Spearfishing is a wonderful sport that can be thought as both a workout and a hobby. It takes no more than having the courage and being comfortable amongst a vast array of underwater organisms that may or may not harm you. As long as you respect nature, in return, nature will return the favor with the same respect.

Ever since I was a little kid, I loved fishing and everything that had to deal with fish. My dad would take me often with him as his companion for night cliff fishing. I cannot tell you how much I fell in love with it. As I grew older, there were magazines of spearfishermen who would be surrounded with many fish and as they stalk their prey, their hard work in technique pays off in the end with the day's catch. Seeing this, the greatest thing I have always wanted to do was to swim in the vast ocean and be the one to experience this breath-taking wonder that not everyone has the chance to do.

The underwater environment that I have first encountered has tweaked me into loving the waters even more. The first time I have went out into deeper waters outside the reef I felt uncomfortable. I have always been afraid of the deep blue, especially after watching Jaws... whooo, I didn't think I would stand a chance out there. However, after several dives out in the waters and also coming into contact with reef sharks, I have come to accept and be a bit more calm underwater with the fish and organisms.
